Advanced Rapid Intervention Crew training

Advanced Rapid Intervention Crew (R.I.C.) training was held at the station in December. Members were instructed on rescuing a down and/or trapped firefighter as well as rescuing an civilian that may become trapped inside a burning building. Firefighters were given the tasks of rescuing the person in total darkness (air mask face pieces were covered to simulate poor or no visibility).  Other company's that participated were Boswell, Hooversville and Shanksville. This was an excellent class. Thanks to the instructors and to the participating company's.
