Another vehicle accident on another rainy day, this one on Rt30 at Skunk Hollow Rd. Chief arrived and found one vehicle involved that ran off the wet roadway and struck a stone wall with the driver self-extricated and advising of a hand injury. The driver was checked by Somerset Ambulance and refused transport. Responding units were Chief 604, Engine 604, Utility 604, Fire Police 604, Utility 603 (Friedens), Battalion 603 and Somerset Ambulance. State Police investigated. 2025-224

10:02am Chief and Utility assisted a disabled motorist and a wrecker with a disabled vehicle on the roadway on Rt30 just east of Dollar General. 2025-220
5:36pm Station was dispatched for a vehicle accident with reported no injuries on Bicycle Rd near Lease Rd. Chief arrived and found one vehicle on its side with the driver still inside and unable to get out. Engine 604 arrived and that crew attempted to remove the windshield to extricate the driver. Once the windshied was removed the crew attempted to extricate the driver however the driver was still unable to get out so the crew removed the roof. Once the roof was removed, the driver was able to be extricated from the vehicle. Somerset Ambulance then transported the driver to a hospital for evaluation. State Police investigated. 2025-221
12:23pm Crews responded to a 3 vehicle accident with entrapment on Rt30 at the Horner Church Rd intersection. Chief arrived and confirmed 3 vehicles involved with one trapped inside the GMC. Engine 604 arrived and was given the task of extricating the driver of the GMC. Rescue 605 (Boswell) then arrived and assisted our crew and also began assessing the other two vehicles, a mini-van and a passenger car. Multiple ambulances from Somerset assisted on scene. A total of 4 patients were transported to the hospital. Crews remained on scene for nearly 4 hours. Rt30 then was reopened. State Police investigated. PaDot also assisted on scene. 2025-215
